Luca, Elementary School Worldschooler Learning Across Continents

Luca’s family had always prioritized hands-on learning, and when they decided to spend a year traveling across Europe and Asia, they needed an academic solution that would provide structure without limiting their experiences.

Traditional online schools weren’t a fit—the family wanted an interactive, flexible program that would allow Luca to engage in real-world learning while staying on track academically.

With Pacific Preparatory, Luca’s family was able to design a curriculum that complemented their travels. His history lessons aligned with the cultures he was exploring, and his science curriculum incorporated fieldwork from their outdoor adventures. Because instruction was one-on-one and fully virtual, his schedule adapted to their changing time zones, ensuring he stayed engaged without feeling overwhelmed. The experience deepened his love for learning, and when his family decided to settle back home, he re-entered his local school with a strong academic foundation.
