We are pleased to announce that Pacific Preparatory’s Spirit Week starts on January 24th, 2022! Ring in the new school year with a virtual dose of school pride.

During Spirit Week, we encourage students and teachers to dress up in their comfiest, silliest, and most out-there costumes. We’ll be showcasing student contributions on a blog and a slideshow (email staci@pacificpreparatory.com with your Spirit Week photos to be included!). Let’s show each other how fun and creative we can all be in 2022!

Monday, January 24th: Pajama Day

We kick off spirit week by encouraging students to wake up in their coziest pajamas and wear ’em all day! Enough said. :)

Tuesday, January 25th: Wild Hair Day

Wacky hair… do you dare? Wild colors, hair that stands on end, an assortment of 100 bows… show us your best, most creative hairstyles!

Wednesday, January 26th: Dress in the Dark Day

What if you had to get dressed in the dark, with no way to check whether your outfit matched? On Dress in the Dark Day, see just how mismatched you can get in your day’s attire--as if you’d gotten dressed in the dark!

Thursday, January 27th: Character Day

Do you have a favorite character from a book, T.V. show, movie, or musical/play that you just love? Channel that character by dressing up as them on Character Day!

Friday, January 28th: Pac Prep Day

Our school colors are red, gray, and white and our mascot is the Phoenix. Represent in whatever way you choose!

Staci Stutsman

Assistant Head of School
Staci is a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Head of School who supports the daily operations and processes of the school. Her responsibilities include leading strategy on teacher professional development, student learning, and staff recruitment, hiring, and onboarding. Beyond her work at Pacific Preparatory, Staci is proud to lead school district partnerships at Tutor Corps and our scholarship program at the Tutor Corps Foundation, working to bring the gift of 1:1 education at free and reduced rates to over 200 students a year. Staci graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Michigan University before completing her Ph.D. in English from Syracuse University. At Syracuse, she taught college-level writing classes and trained new graduate teaching assistants. Before becoming the Operations Director at Pacific Preparatory, Staci taught students across the Bay Area through the organization. Her experience as a teacher has given her a unique perspective on the needs of both teachers and students in the 1:1 education space. Staci's attention to detail and strong work ethic have made her an invaluable member of the team. In her free time, Staci loves reading fiction, snuggling with her dogs, cooking, and going for hikes around Portland.
