AP & Honors Courses at PacPrep
At Pacific Preparatory, our Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses are designed to further challenge and inspire students. There are several compelling reasons why students may choose to take AP and Honors courses with us, including:
Availability of courses not offered at their own school
A desire to stand out in the college admissions process with a distinguished transcript
The option to start in the summer for a more relaxed pace
The 1:1 model ensures that students thoroughly grasp the material before progressing to the next stage
Targeted exam prep to optimize student success
In contrast to traditional PacPrep courses offered on a rolling basis, AP courses taken at Pacific Preparatory must begin in the summer or fall semester of the respective school year. This requirement is due to the resources that the College Board provides as well as the spring timing of the AP exams.
Our Honors courses are ideal for students who want to dive deeper into specific subjects, with more in-depth material and more challenging assignments. These courses require a high level of critical thinking and analytical skills, and students who succeed in these classes are well-equipped to tackle the rigors of college-level coursework.
You can view our UC-approved high school courses, NCAA approval, and course catalog for ideas on the courses we offer. If you have an idea for a course that is not listed, feel free to reach out to us for further discussion.
