Every new semester comes with a few familiar things: new school supplies, new schedules, new teachers, and, of course, some new nervous jitters. Students might feel especially uncertain if they are new to a school, or if they haven’t experienced private online homeschool before.

We asked a few of our veteran Pacific Preparatory teachers: “If you could tell a new student one thing about what it will be like learning with Pacific Prep, what would you tell them?” Here’s what they had to share:

“I would tell them to really take some time to imagine their ideal learning environment, what they want to learn about, and how they love to learn, because at Pacific Prep, we can totally make it happen!” -Darla R.

“Be open to the possibilities! You might just absolutely love it.” -Nataly W.

“Don't be afraid to ask questions! Working one-on-one allows for the teachers to really answer any question to the best of their ability and also gives them the flexibility to try and find the best way for you to learn.” -Emma B.

“Your teachers are so excited to begin working with you!” - Ellie V.

“When learning at Pacific Prep, you not only gain a tailored education experience, but a new team of teachers, mentors, and friends to support your needs and foster your interests.” - Jen A.

“You will find a teacher that listens, but someone who also wants to learn from you.” - Frannie I.

Conclusion

At Pacific Preparatory, every teacher is ready to welcome every student with a private homeschool experience that is tailored to exactly what will make each student feel comfortable and thrive. What better way to shake off new school jitters than to know that your class will be designed with only you in mind?
