Leadership Team Feature: Erika Sneath

All of our Pacific Preparatory families have the privilege of collaborating with our curriculum specialist, Erika Sneath. Not only is Erika extremely knowledgeable in ways to make sure all of our students succeed academically, she is always there to be an active participant in each student’s education journey. She works with students, parents, and teachers to ensure lessons integrate student interests, development, and academic goals. She is passionate about ensuring that lessons are engaging, rigorous, and support the needs of all students. Check out Erika explaining our curriculum approach here!

Erika graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and specialities in Reading Instruction, Special Education, and English Language Learners. She received her Masters of Science in Curriculum and Development from Portland State University. With experience working as a public school teacher, Erika brings her expertise of engagement strategies, learning platforms, and academic success to all of her interactions with families. Erika is certified to teach K-8 elementary, P-12 reading instruction, and P-12 English Language Development.

 
 

Even Erika’s goals are in line with helping students as one for her future goals is writing her own children’s book! **Update: she’s now a published author! She also enjoys reading, puzzles and board games, and spending time with her friends and family (especially her nephews!).
