Pod Interest Form for Families
Pacific Preparatory, a fully accredited institution, is pleased to offer pod instruction for students in grades 3 through 12, both virtually and in-person,* during the 2020-21 school year. With over 18 years of experience in individualized education, we are able to custom tailor pod instruction according to the curriculum and learning needs of your small group, whether that means utilizing your brick-and-mortar school’s curriculum to support students, bringing in Pacific Preparatory’s curriculum, or as a hybrid program, combining your school’s curriculum with our curriculum and the specific learning interests of each group.
Pacific Preparatory pod instruction includes:
Complete setup support for your pod (determining the ideal weekly scheduling, etc.)
Custom curriculum, tailored to the group’s learning needs and preferences
High quality, thoroughly vetted teachers with thoughtful expertise
Hands-on learning materials/manipulatives for each child, whether your pod is working together online or in-person
Mid-semester progress reports and end-of-semester report cards (these can be “unofficial” as a means to simply provide learning feedback from the teacher, or included in your child’s transcript records, as desired by each family)
Detailed weekly email updates from the facilitating teacher
If in-person, a guarantee that your teacher will exclusively work with only your pod (the remainder of the teacher’s work will be online teaching only for the engagement duration)
Independent practice assigned by teacher for students to complete outside of sessions, if desired
A fun welcome package for each participating child
Ongoing support from our experienced leadership team
*We are able to offer in-person programming for SF Bay Area and Los Angeles families only.

Each pod requires one parent to serve as the Lead Parent. The role of the Lead Parent is to act as the liaison between the pod group and our leadership team, communicating the pod’s preferences around scheduling, curriculum, and high level logistics (having one “main” voice helps us all stay organized!).
